Message: I called for an inspection and explained that I was traveling, and unfortunately would miss the state deadline.. The person who answered the phone, was very professional and explained how the state deadlines worked, which put me at ease. He then scheduled me for an appointment after I returned.. When I took my car for the inspection, the place was clean, everyone was courteous (even friendly), and they did my inspection in less than an hour.. I was very impressed.

Message: This shop has taken great care of my family since we discovered them years and years ago. A couple of examples... When my daughter's car needed new motor mounts we were given a reasonable quote and were prepared to pay it. The invoice was $200 less than the quote. They said it wasn't as labor-intensive as estimated. Who does that?! ?. Today I dropped off the car for a brake job and was told the parts were already ordered and received. Just on my suspicion that it needed new pads and rotors.. That's customer service!

Message: I have been going to Tilden since they opened in N. Kingstown and my experience as a single senior woman is always positive. What a huge relief it has been to work with them. It wasn't easy leaving the Toyota dealer, whether habit or a sense that they know my car. But that changed once they moved from Post Rd. My good fortune was that I gave Tilden a try. Good karma abounds at that place. They don't have time to mess with BS they are always very busy, patience is definitely worth it here.

Message: A great, friendly, small neighborhood shop I regret I have not discovered earlier. I had an exhaust leak and stopped by to check if they can fix it. It was late afternoon, I left my car there and next morning at 8:30 am Mike called me to pick up the car. It was all set. They placed a sleeve. Amazingly quick, although they looked very busy. I was even more pleasantly surprised of the bill. Very reasonable. Mike sure knows how to win a customer. I think I found my go to mechanic.
