Heath was amazing to work with, he was prompt, transparent and communicative throughout the entire process of repairing my Jeep Liberty. It’s very rare to find businesses that talk the talk as well as walk the walk, Heath followed up with me exactly when he said he would and kept me informed every step of the way. The repair itself was quite expensive, however they did an engine replacement for me as well as several other repairs to get my car back on the road after it was out of service for over 8 months so I wasn’t expecting it to be cheap. Heath let me know what was most pressing out of the necessary repairs and what I could hold off on which was appreciated. I ended up moving forward with everything so that I could be safely back on the road and could minimize future trips to the shop and I’m very glad I did. Message: I took my wife's car to 146A Auto Repair as we encountered an issue when trying to put gas in the car (the pump would constantly turn off). Don was very professional and took the time to explain to us what his findings were. In fact, he was able to diagnose the problem very quickly and found that the issue was one of two parts. He suggested that we start with the cheaper of the two repairs. This has fixed the problem for us without any other issues. Don even followed up with us proactively to see if the problem was fully resolved. Many other repair shops would have simply charged more and replaced both parts. I appreciate that he took the time to explain what he found and presented options to us. It is nice to have a mechanic that you trust and know will be transparent with you and simply fix your vehicle. Don is focused on customer service and maintaining a loyal customer base rather than making a quick buck.
